The Chess Club at Discovery Academy is open to students of all ages and skill levels, from beginners learning the basics to experienced players refining their strategy. Led by Mr. Nico, the club provides a structured yet engaging environment where students can develop their skills, challenge their minds, and enjoy friendly competition. Each session combines practical gameplay, strategy development, and interactive learning. More than just a game, chess is a powerful tool for building critical thinking, problem-solving, and patience. It helps students plan ahead, recognize patterns, and make thoughtful decisions—all while having fun and connecting with friends!
