Meet Ms. Ashley

Hi! I'm Ms. Ashley and am so excited for the new school year! This will be my 7th year working at Discovery Academy and I absolutely love it here! I am originally from Pennsylvania and moved to Florida in 2011! I did karate growing up and am a first degree black belt!! I have two rescue dogs, Harley and Scarlett, who I love so much and I am super close with my parents! I went to Daytona State College and graduated with my Bachelor's in Elementary Education K-6, ESOL Certification and Reading Endorsement and I was on the Dean's List. I absolutely love Disney and I am an Annual Passholder, as well as an avid Taylor Swift fan - she's all I listen to! I also love going to Target and drinking Starbucks!! Halloween and Christmas are my favorite times of the year and I just absolutely love being a teacher and inspiring new minds each and every day!!
